isoconic.com

A niche dictionary word with potential beyond its actual definition

This brilliant name is actually a real word from the world of mathematics and geometry which refers to something describing 'the same cone'. The prefix 'iso-' means 'equal' and 'conic' refers to the shape of a cone. It's an obscure definition, but it's a very attractive word - and this is where it gets its branding potential. The name echoes the word 'iconic' - a word that refers to an image, symbol or style which is classic or timeless. To be seen as or referred to as being 'iconic' is high praise indeed. If the 'iso-' prefix means equal, the whole name could be read as "equally stylish". (The inclusion of the letters 'so' could even be a subtle way of say "this is so iconic".) The name also echoes the word 'isotonic' which will resonate with businesses in the sports and fitness sectors. There's clearly a lot going on with this name but, at its core, this is simply a very distinctive and evocative contemporary .com business name with great brand potential.

About the domain transfer

Novanym owns all the domains on our website, and we don't sell on behalf of third parties. So, as soon as you buy a domain name from us, it belongs to you. But there’s a short process involved in moving it from our domain name registrar to yours. This process is called a ‘domain transfer’.

  • If you don’t already have one, you will need an account with a Domain Name Registrar, like Godaddy, Namecheap, Network Solutions, FastDomain, etc.
  • You can then request to ‘Transfer-in’ your new domain to your account.
  • When transferring-in your new domain, you’ll be asked to enter an ‘Authoristation Code’ (sometimes called an ‘EPP’) , which we will have emailed to you after you made your purchase.
  • Domain transfers are usually completed within hours, but can very occasionally take a few days.
  • Once the domain name is in your account, it is yours to keep forever - as long as you pay a small annual ‘renewal fee’ (typically around US$15) to your domain registrar. There are no ongoing charges from Novanym.
  • Your chosen domain name registrar may make a small charge for the transfer (typically around US$15), but this usually includes your first year’s annual fee.
